Exploring human experience through poetry and prose

Poetry

Emotional landscapes in verse

The Bitterness & The Warmth

She is like coffee—dark, bitter, and yet, I crave her.
The first sip scalds, but I keep drinking.
In every sleepless night, she lingers—
A warmth that burns, an addiction I never wish to quit.

The Roar of a Machine

She is a Ferrari—sleek, untamed, and breathtaking.
Her words shift like gears, fast and smooth.
Her presence—like a V12 purr in the dead of night,
A melody only the wild-hearted understand.

A Shutter's Blink

She is a camera—silent, but full of stories.
A single blink captures lifetimes,
And even in black and white, she is beautiful.
Framed in my mind, an image I will never delete.

From Everything Begins Here

A novel about connection and memory

"Isn't it beautiful? How men and women have been born and dead for as long as time has existed, how humans forge relationships they hope will stand the tide of time despite knowing the grand folly of mortality, but you and I happen to be alive on this big blue earth at the same time?"
"If I could string everything you've ever said to me into the prettiest friendship bracelet and wear it, I would. Instead, I remember it, and I'll remember it forever. I'm aware that I'm yet another victim of the folly of mortality when I make grand claims of forever..."
"And when I have no beating heart to hold out as proof of my existence, I'll carry your memory in my bones, like salt in the sea, like stardust in the sky. They say memory is punishment, but memory is the greatest gift of all..."
